The Conklin Pen Co. introduces the Mark Twain Crescent Collection, an exact replica of the original Conklin crescent filler used and promoted by Mark Twain.

In 1903, MARK TWAIN, the legendary American author, began his relationship with The Conklin Pen Co, the great American pen manufacturer. As a spokesman for Conklin, Twain advertised and promoted the famous Conklin Crescent Filler

Mark Twain expressed the virtues of this unique self-filling fountain pen in a series of advertisements in which he stated "I prefer it to ten other fountain pens, because it carries its filler in its own stomach, and I can not mislay even by art or intention. Also, I prefer it because it is a profanity saver; it cannot roll off the desk."

Available in both the original black chased model, a marbled Cobalt Blue model and Butterscotch Brown, each pen is made from cellulose acetate. The barrel of each pen is engraved with the famous Conklin logo in a unique antique yellow. Accented with a sterling silver clip and band with Mark Twain's signature, each fountain pen will have a two tone 14kt gold nib. Available in F, M and B.

Also available is a matching convertible Roller Ball/Ball Point.

Due to the great success of our Mark Twain Crescent Collection, Conklin is proud to introduce a remarkable new color, Butterscotch Brown, to this collection. Made from a unique cellulose ascetate material. Each pen features sterling silver accents and Mark Twain's famous signature on the band.

This stunning new color is sure to be as successful as the original two versions of these remarkable writing instruments
